Welcome to the Marcus Whitman School-Based Health Center

In the spirit of meeting you where you are, Mosaic Health partnered with the Marcus Whitman School District to open a School-Based Health Center (SBHC) to help students get medical, mental health, and dental services.

Our licensed health professionals work through the SBHC to open the door to better health for your kids, regardless of insurance status. If you do have insurance, Mosaic Health will bill your insurance. If you don’t, you will still not be billed.

Need a ride?

If your child needs a ride to an appointment, school-sponsored transportation is available for all Marcus Whitman students.

Here for you even when school’s out

Mosaic Health provides 24-hour on-call services to all School-Based Health Center patients. So even after hours, you can get the answers you need right now about your child’s health. To reach a provider in the evenings or on weekends, call (585) 554-4400.

If you’re a Medicaid patient in Yates County, you can request a ride through the Yates County Department of Social Services at 315-536-5183

Peace of mind about the paperwork

No need to worry when you sign your Consent Form, because doing so:

Does NOT charge your insurance (LINK TO CONSENT FORMS)
Does NOT mean you have to receive SBHC services. Students can opt out of services.
Does NOT affect the number of times you can see your medical doctor.

If your child is sick, please do not send them to school. Call 585-287-8844 for an appointment with the SBHC provider.
