On June 3, 2024, Mosaic Health regretfully announced the closing of two dental facilities in New York State: one in Mt. Morris and the other in Lyons. Here are answers to questions you may have about the closures.

  • We are closing both Lyons and Mt. Morris due to both a loss of funding and a national shortage of dental professionals.

  • Both offices will close after 90 days depending on staffing and state approval.

  • Mosaic Health has your records, and you can request them by calling your health center. Lyons patients should call (315) 871-3178; Mt. Morris patients should call (585) 243-7840.

  • If you’re in the middle of a treatment plan, our goal is to get it completed in Mt. Morris or Lyons. Should those offices close before completion, you may get treatment at our Rushville office.

  • You can join us at our Public Forums on Thursday, June 6. For questions related to the Lyons closing, join us from 5:00-6:00 p.m., and for Mt.
