RPCN Announces Network-Wide Staffing Changes
Regional Primary Care Network (RPCN) announced several staffing updates across its network of Community Health Centers.
Dr. Melissa Copella, a dentist at its Rushville Community Health Center (RCHC), has taken on the additional responsibility of RPCN Dental Director. In this capacity, she will provide leadership and supervision to all dental staff, work with senior management to develop appropriate clinical policies and procedures and ensure the dental department is meeting the diverse health and social needs of our patient population.
Sherilee Callahan, who has been the lead dental assistant since Livingston Community Health Center (LCHC) opened in 2010, has been promoted to Practice Manager. Ms. Callahan is committed to providing the highest quality of service to patients and the RPCN administrative team.
At Utica Community Health Center (UCHC), Nicole Cocomazzi has moved into the role of Practice Manager, while Dianne DiMeo is now Practice Transformation Lead. Ms. Cocomazzi has been UCHC’s Patient Access Manager of Utica Community Health Center since it opened in 2010. She was instrumental in the planning and opening of the Center and continues to be vital to its ongoing success. As Practice Transformation Lead, Ms. DiMeo will help RPCN earn the distinction of Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and carry out implementation of the model.
PCMH is an approach to organizing and delivering primary care that improves the experience of care, health of populations, and the cost of health care. A medical home achieves these goals by adopting new technologies, working in teams, and building relationships with patients and their families that encourages care that is patient-centered, comprehensive, coordinated, and easily understood.
