Utica Community Health Center Embarking on Expansion

UTICA — Plans to expand the Utica Community Health Center in Cornhill include the transformation of the former Manny’s Cheesecake site into a parking lot for staff and patients.

The Oneida Street health center’s multi-phase expansion also will involve a 3,800-square-foot extension of its current facility to grow the center’s social work and behavioral health programs as well as the relocation of its dentistry program to the Parkside Court medical office park in South Utica, said Mike Leary, CEO of the center’s Rochester-based parent organization Regional Primary Care Network.
